250 g of all-purpose flour is 2 US cups, 200 g of granulated sugar is 1 cup, and a French oven set to thermostat 6 is 180 °C or 356 °F (use 350 °F in a US oven). Type any amount in grams, ml, cl or French spoons below, pick the ingredient, and get cups, tablespoons and ounces.

Oven converter
What the converter does
- Weight to volume uses ingredient-specific densities from the King Arthur Baking ingredient weight chart, because 100 g of flour and 100 g of sugar fill very different cups.
- Liquids in ml, cl or dl convert by volume: 1 US cup = 236.6 ml, 1 cl = 10 ml, 1 dl = 100 ml.
- French spoons: a cuillère à soupe (c. à s.) is 15 ml and a cuillère à café (c. à c.) is 5 ml, almost the same as a US tablespoon and teaspoon.
- Oven: French thermostat (Th) × 30 = °C. Th 6 = 180 °C = 356 °F, which most US recipes round to 350 °F.
Best result: weigh. A $15 kitchen scale makes French recipes exact, because they were written by weight.
